An ancient culture. In the little Pometo (Ruino) village, in a beautiful scenary of green hills (550 m high) is placed Mariangela Cai farm since 1840, becoming Farm Holiday in 1997. Nice place to rest, it's a good starting-point for a walk, a trip on bike, or a ride, just in the heart of Oltrepò Pavese. It's possible to organize sightseeing tours of the medioval casteles in the nightbourhood (Zavattarello, Oramala, Rocca d'Olgisio, La Bastardina, ect.), and in biggest wine cellar of Oltrepò Pavese. Mariangela Cai's vinejards produce pinot and it is possible to harvest gripes in september. The farm is often frequented by foreing tiurists, they are welcome in their language: english, french and germany are spoken cerrectly, Guests find here flats and mini flats with the use of kitchen. Futhermore there is a large hall (50 persons), only on request, for meetings or parties. The hall is full equipped with kitchen and bathrooms; if necessary the Farm Holiday can provide a catering service.

Serenity of living. This Farm Holiday is placed in the quite and silent environment of the ancient village of Pometo but it offers nearby all the services necessary to your tranquillity: you will find the pharmacy, the newspaper kiosk, grocery stores and resturants where it's possible to taste typical Oltrepò Pavese products.

Some of these organized trips: following Federico Barbarossa, through the medioeval way he went along it's possible to reach millenarian Sant'Alberto di Butrio Abbey and Oramala Castle, sourrounded by oaks and chestnuts; the Botanical Garden of Pietra Corva, a place of great value, in high Tidone Valley, it's possible to reach it with a little trip the beech-woods.
